By booking a tour, workshop or photography experience at Bailup Farm, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Safety & Conduct
Closed-in footwear must be worn at all times.
Bailup Farm is a working property. Some walking is involved, and terrain may be uneven, rocky, muddy or slippery. Guests enter paddocks and surrounding areas at their own risk.
Do not enter paddocks or open gates unless invited to do so.
Running, shouting or sudden loud noises are not permitted, as they may startle the animals.
Our animals’ wellbeing and your safety are our highest priorities. Guests must follow all instructions provided during their visit. Failure to do so may result in the session being terminated without refund.
Machinery, tools and other working farm equipment may be present. Please remain aware of your surroundings at all times.
Animal Interaction
You will be interacting with live animals who have their own personalities and behaviours. While our animals are gentle and accustomed to visitors, interactions cannot be guaranteed and may vary depending on the day and the animals’ comfort levels.
All animal interactions are animal-led. We do not force our animals to participate.
Children
We warmly welcome children of all ages. However, as we work with large farm animals, our tours are best suited to adults and older children and are not recommended for young children.
Children remain the full responsibility of their parent or guardian at all times.
When entering cattle paddocks:
Children under 4 years of age must be carried.
Older children must remain beside an adult at all times.
Children are not permitted in paddocks with our adult Highland cattle.
Bailup Farm reserves the right to adjust experiences to ensure safety for both children and animals.
Arrival Times
Your booking begins at your allocated time and runs for the duration scheduled.
We recommend arriving approximately 10 minutes early to ensure your session can begin on time. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time.
Photography
Guests are welcome to take personal photos on their phones during their visit.
Bailup Farm is exclusive to Krissy Pernechele Photography for professional photography services. External professional photographers are not permitted unless arranged in writing prior to your booking.
We may capture images during sessions for promotional purposes. Please advise us prior to your visit if you do not wish for images featuring you or your children to be used.
Booking & Cancellation Policy
Farm Experiences (No Photoshoot)
Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to your booking will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your booking will not receive a refund.
Photography Sessions
Cancellations or rescheduling more than 7 days prior to your booking incur no fee.
Cancellations or rescheduling between 3–7 days prior to your booking will incur a $100 fee.
Cancellations within 48 hours of your booking time, or failure to attend, will incur 100% of the booking fee and no refund will be issued.
Rescheduling within 48 hours will incur a $200 amendment fee.
Workshops
Sip, Paint & Pat
Cancellations made 7 days prior to your booking will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 7 days of your workshop date not be eligible for a refund.
Other Workshops
All other workshops hosted at Bailup Farm are subject to the individual Terms & Conditions and refund policies of the responsible vendor facilitating the workshop.
Please refer to the specific workshop details at the time of booking for full cancellation information.
Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
As we operate outdoors and work with animals, weather conditions may require adjustments to your booking.
Light rain will not usually affect bookings. However, in cases of extreme weather — including temperatures exceeding 36°C — sessions may be rescheduled.
If Bailup Farm cancels your booking due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
We will always do our best to accommodate guests while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our animals.
