Thank you for supporting our Telethon Family Fun Day at Bailup Farm. 💛
This is the first charity event we have held on this scale and our aim is to create a wonderful, safe and fun day while raising as much money as possible for Telethon.
We respectfully ask everyone attending to read the following conditions before purchasing tickets to help our big day go as smoothly as possible!
TICKETS & REFUNDS
All ticket sales are final and tickets are non-refundable.
Money from ticket sales is being donated directly to Telethon and, as these funds are not retained by Bailup Farm, we are unable to provide refunds for change of mind, illness, inability to attend or other personal circumstances.
Tickets must be purchased online before the event. Tickets will NOT be available to purchase at the gate on the day.
Please do not arrive without a valid ticket. Unfortunately, anyone without a ticket will be turned away, even if they are accompanying other ticket holders.
YOUR SESSION TIME
This is extremely important.
Due to the number of people attending and our limited parking, the event has been divided into two completely separate sessions.
Morning Session: 10:00am – 12:30pm
Afternoon Session: 1:30pm – 4:00pm
Your ticket is valid ONLY for the session you have purchased.
Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your session begins.
At the end of your session, all guests must leave the property promptly so we can clear the car park and, following the morning session, prepare for our next group of guests while also giving our volunteers and animals a littel break.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow guests to arrive during one session and remain for the following session.
CHILDREN
Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.
Please speak with your children before attending about appropriate behaviour around animals.
There will be animals being walked around throughout the event. Please do not allow children to run towards, chase, surround, scream at or make sudden loud noises around them. Even our quietest and most experienced animals can become frightened or overwhelmed.
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring children in their care follow instructions given by Bailup Farm staff and volunteers.
OUR ANIMALS
The welfare of our animals will always come first.
Our animals are loved members of Bailup Farm and we ask that they are treated gently and respectfully at all times.
Please:
• Do not chase, grab, pull, climb on or deliberately frighten any animal.
• Do not feed animals unless you are specifically invited to do so by our team.
• Do not enter animal pens, paddocks or restricted areas unless invited by a member of our team.
• Never open gates or animal enclosures.
• Approach animals calmly and quietly.
• Follow all instructions given by the people handling our animals.
Anyone behaving in a way that we believe is unsafe, cruel, disruptive or distressing to our animals will be asked to leave the event.
We will not compromise the welfare of our animals for anyone.
BAILUP FORD FARM CAR MUSEUM
We are very excited to be opening our private car museum as part of this special event.
Many of the vehicles in our collection are very special to us, so we kindly ask that all visitors enjoy the cars with their eyes and not their hands.
Please do not touch, lean against, sit on or attempt to open any of the vehicles.
If you would like a closer look inside a vehicle, under a bonnet or at something in particular, please ask one of our team members. Where possible, we will be more than happy to help.
Children must remain supervised while inside the museum and must not climb on or touch the vehicles or displays.
GENERAL BEHAVIOUR & SAFETY
Bailup Farm is a working farm, not a purpose-built event venue. The ground can be uneven and there are the usual hazards you would expect on a rural property.
Please wear sensible, enclosed footwear and take care when moving around the property.
For everyone's safety, guests must follow any directions given by Bailup Farm staff, volunteers and event personnel.
Aggressive, abusive, dangerous or inappropriate behaviour towards our staff, volunteers, other guests or animals will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask anyone behaving inappropriately or failing to follow safety instructions to leave the property.
PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
Photography and filming will take place throughout the event for Bailup Farm, Bailup Ford Farm, Telethon and event promotional purposes.
By attending, you acknowledge that photographs or video footage may be taken in public areas of the event and may be used on our website, social media or other promotional material.
If you or a child in your care do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please let one of our team members know when you arrive so we can do our best to ensure you are not included in identifiable photographs or footage.
WEATHER & EVENT CHANGES
Please keep in mind that Bailup Farm is an outdoor farm venue.
The Bailup Ford Farm Car Museum and car displays are undercover, however the majority of our Family Fun Day activities, animals, entertainment and food vendors will be located outdoors.
With the exception of severe weather , the Family Fun Day will go ahead as planned.
Please check the weather forecast before attending and dress appropriately for the conditions on the day. We recommend sensible enclosed footwear and bringing along anything you may need to keep comfortable, whether that means a hat and sunscreen or a rain jacket.
A LITTLE PATIENCE & KINDNESS 💛
Finally, we ask everyone attending to remember what this day is all about.
This is the first event of this size that we have ever held at Bailup Farm. We have put a huge amount of time, love and effort into creating a wonderful day for our community while raising as much money as we possibly can for Telethon.
We will do our absolute best to make everything run smoothly, but there may be a few little hiccups along the way.
We simply ask that you bring your patience, kindness and sense of humour with you.
Everyone involved in putting this day together is doing so with the same goal — to create a fantastic day and raise money for an incredibly important cause.
